About Me

Hi there! I'm Mair (pronounced like 'Maya'), an accredited humanist celebrant through Humanists UK. I'm based in Penge in south-east London, where I live with my husband, young son and our adorable dog. 

 

I'm originally from south Wales and I'm a proud native Welsh speaker. I also speak French fluently, having studied languages at Oxford, and I've been lucky enough to spend time living and working in France. I still speak a little Spanish from my A Level days too!

A communications professional for a well-loved brand by training, I have a love of words, language and literature. Music has always played an important role in my life too, and I sing in my local chamber choir. I'm always happy to recommend music or readings for your ceremony (and I'd be more than happy to lead your guests in song if you'd like!)
