A humanist wedding ceremony is a meaningful, beautiful and inclusive celebration of you and your love. It marks this special new chapter in your unique story in a way that’s authentic to you, and will be remembered when you celebrate every anniversary. You can hold your wedding ceremony anywhere you'd like – from a designated wedding venue to a comfy boutique hotel, cosy country pub, family home or even in your own back garden. 
 
As your celebrant, I’ll really take the time to get to know you as a couple to make sure your ceremony is tailored just for you - planning your ceremony will be the best part of the ‘wed-min’!

Your Wedding Ceremony Elements

• We’ll tell your unique love story from when you first met to when you decided to say ‘I do’ and all the magical moments in between. 

• You'll share your vows with each other - the blueprint for your exciting future together - and I can absolutely give you a helping hand to find just the right words. 

• Sealing your vows with an exchange of rings and/or with any other symbolic gesture you’d like (whether that's performing a ring warming, a hand fasting, lighting a unity candle or anything else you'd like to incorporate) – the more personal to you, the better!

• We’ll end the ceremony with a joyful proclamation of your marriage (hooray!) before your guests cheer you into your new chapter together as a married couple.

 
The Legal Bit
 

• Humanist weddings aren’t (yet!) legally recognised in England and Wales. This means you’ll also need a register office ceremony from around £50 for a statutory ‘no-frills’ ceremony. I'm more than happy to answer any questions you might have about this. ​

Where do you lead humanist wedding ceremonies?
​

• I'm an experienced wedding celebrant based in South London, and I lead weddings across London, the South-East, Wales, France and beyond - though I'm always happy to explore new places too! 

• I've led wonderful wedding ceremonies in some gorgeous venues including: Kew Gardens, Queen's House, 11 Cavendish Square, Oaks Farm, The Mitre Hotel Hampton Court, The Mount Vineyard, The Barns at Lodge Farm and Notley Abbey.

How much does a wedding ceremony with you cost?
 
My standard wedding ceremony fee is £850. 
 
This includes:

• All ‘date night’ planning meetings

• Your bespoke wedding ceremony script 

• A rehearsal before your ceremony 

• Leading the ceremony on the day itself

• A keepsake copy of your script to re-read on every anniversary

• Travel within the M25 (travel and/or accommodation expenses will apply to ceremonies outside this area and for destination weddings)

How will you work with us to create our wedding ceremony script?

​1. Please click here to book in a free introductory call on Zoom. 
2. Confirm your booking for your chosen date (yay!) -  I'll ask for a 50% deposit to save your date. 
3. We'll meet for a longer chat either online or in person to learn all about you as a couple and we'll create your wedding ceremony together. 
4. I'll write your bespoke ceremony with all the lovely elements that make you tick as a couple. 
5. An optional rehearsal before the ceremony in a venue of your choice (either the wedding venue, your home or even online).
6. As your wedding celebrant, I'll of course be there with you on the day to put your mind at ease immediately before the ceremony and to lead the ceremony itself. I'll arrive an hour before the start of your ceremony to make sure everyone's happy and comfortable.
7. You're married - hooray!
