Wedding Ceremony FAQs

Where can I have my wedding?

Absolutely anywhere you like! From a designated wedding venue, pub, hotel or outside on a beach or in the middle of a field.

Do you lead same-sex weddings?

Of course - love is love is love!

Are humanist wedding ceremonies legal in England and Wales?

Unfortunately, humanist weddings aren't yet legal in England and Wales (although Humanists UK are working hard behind the scenes to make this a reality!)

Couples will often have their legal ceremony at a register office before their humanist ceremony, with cheaper options available at many register offices for a short mid-week ceremony.

Do you offer vow renewals?

Absolutely! Whether you're celebrating a special anniversary or you just fancy celebrating your love for one another all over again, I offer bespoke vow renewal ceremonies.

How much do you charge for wedding ceremonies?

My standard wedding ceremony fee is £700. This includes all meetings, your bespoke ceremony script and a keepsake copy, a rehearsal and of course leading your ceremony on the day itself. I ask for a 20% to secure your booking. Travel and/or accommodation expenses will apply to ceremonies outside the M25.
