Humanist Wedding FAQs

Where can I hold my humanist wedding?

Absolutely anywhere you like! Whether you'd like your wedding ceremony indoors in a designated wedding venue, pub, hotel or outside on a beach or in the middle of a field - you can celebrate your love in the place that means the most to you.

Do you lead same-sex weddings?

Of course - love is love is love!

Are humanist ceremonies legal in England & Wales?

Unfortunately humanist weddings aren't yet legal in England & Wales (although Humanists UK are working hard behind the scenes to make it happen in the near future). Couples will often have their legal ceremony in a register office before their humanist ceremony. More information on the Humanists UK website here.

Do you offer vow renewals?

Absolutely! Whether you're celebrating a special anniversary or you just fancy celebrating your love for one another all over again, I offer bespoke vow renewal ceremonies.

How much do you charge for a wedding ceremony?

My standard wedding ceremony fee is £700, which includes all meetings, your bespoke ceremony script and a keepsake copy, a rehearsal, travel within the M25 and of course leading your ceremony on the day itself. I ask for a 20% deposit to secure your booking. Travel and/or accommodation expenses will apply for ceremonies outside the M25.
